Do tohoto kontextu pak autor zasazuje výklad o vývoji katolické sociální nauky, zejména od konce 19. století do současnosti, přičemľ neopomene pojednat o specifikách sociální etiky evangelické. Nakonec je podán zevrubný filosofický výklad klíčových principů křes»anské sociální etiky, které shrnují pojmy personalita, solidarita a subsidiarita.
