2009 Conservative Clubs

On January 19th, 2009, KI organized the 29th Conservative Club. This time, the discussion topic was Does Gustáv Husák Deserve a Memorial Tablet? The participants were: Ján Čarnogurský, Eduard Chmelár, Ondrej Dostál, Ivan Kamenec and Matej Medvecký. Štefan Hríb was the moderator.


On June 2nd, 2009, KI in collaboration with .týždeň weekly magazine organized a Conservative Club discussion on The Financial Crisis and Slovakia: Do the Bailout Packets Help Against the Crisis?


On October 22nd, 2009, KI organized another Conservative Club discussion in Pálffy's Palace in Bratislava, this time on the topic of Which is the Future of Waldorf Schools in Slovakia? A Backroom View of the Alternative Education Experimental Verification. After the panelists' contributions (Soňa Nováková, Marián Czére, Michaela Vaníčková, Eva Orbanová, Branislav Pupala and Oľga Nachtmannová), the discussion followed. Ms. Zuzana Humajová, a KI analyst, was the moderator.


On November 26th, 2009, KI organized another Conservative Club discussion in Pálffy's Palace in Bratislava, this time on the topic of An Educational Reform Without Textbooks? The guests of Zuzana Humajová, the KI analyst, who was the discussion moderator, were Anna Chlupíková, David Králik, Veronika Adamčíková, Gréta Korpádiová and Martin Mojžiš.
